and the owner of Milestone Companies, Ronald (Ron) Newman of Washington
has extensive experience in cultivating relationships with various
construction professionals, from inspectors and architects to bankers
and equity partners. He also is adept at handling a wide array of
business- and field-related matters. He has demonstrated a strong
ability to deliver profitable returns on multimillion-dollar projects
during the course of his more-than-30-year career. His experience is
supported by his educational pursuits in marketing, accounting, and
estimating. Ronald Newman is the former president of Norstar
Construction. His current endeavor Milestone Companies is a group of
corporations focused on developing land for and constructing multifamily
properties.
Since starting Milestone in 2005, Ron Newman
successfully developed and sold Orchard Grove 1 for a profit and
completed several full construction projects, including Marastone
Village and Greenwood Heights. While at Norstar Construction, he
directed full cycles for several commercial and residential projects,
such as Issaquah Highlands and The Bluffs, and he was responsible for
managing up to nine project at once. Beyond that, he gained a reputation
for being a high-quality and high-speed provider and regularly
negotiated project supplies at up to 25 percent lower costs than the
competition.
